Ants are one of the most annoying pests any home or business owner will see. First thing you will have to do is seal off any entry points coming from the exterior to the interior. Kitchens must be clean of grease and any other food like substances. If you see an ant trail, dip a sponge into soapy water, then wipe down the trail behind them (this will block other ants from sensing the odors from the trail). You can even buy poison baits at your local convenience store, then vacuum up the dead ants. Make sure that your soil and/or mulch is at least 6 inches away from the foundation of your house and that there are no tree branches or shrubs touching the sides or the roof.
